Every retailer that takes back rechargeable batteries, most likely accepts mobile phones, as do most wireless providers. For computers, cameras, televisions and other it's worthwhile to do a little homework because some stores charge fees depending on item and brand. Check out Best Buy, Staples and Office Depot to see what's the best fit. Some places, like Radio Shack, have trade-in programs where you can receive store credit for your old gadgets. Gale's RECYCLE IT will accept computer and computer accessories (all parts of a computer except monitors) free of charge. Items can be dropped off between 8:00am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday and 8:00am to 12:00pm, Saturdays at 354 Florence Ave, Dover, Ohio. Wilkshire.net now is accepting electronic waste. Working and broken computers, laptop computers, monitors (both CRT and LCD type), printers and cell phones will be accepted. Computers that are Windows XP or newer and cell phones will be accepted free of charge. Older computers, CRT monitors and printers will be charged a $5.00 fee each to help offset processing fees. |

ComputersAgain is one of over 450 nonprofit computer refurbishes
operating in the US today that accepts old computers
and sells them to help Northeast Ohio families
acquire the education and tools needed to gain
marketable skills in computer technology. Computers Again is a program of the Goodwill Industries of Greater
Cleveland and East Central Ohio, Inc. and is

eTek Computer Services, located in Massillon takes in computers, monitors, printers, computer accessories, stereo equipment, speakers, games consoles and many other electronics. e-Tek strips down the equipment and takes the metals, plastics and different parts to recycling centers. |

| Recycle Rebuild Restore Project |
| The Recycled Rebuild Restore Project is a not-for-profit program designed to help improve the local community by providing job skills training, technology recycling and technology based assistance to low income families and the organizations that serve them. Businesses and individuals donate their outdated or unwanted computers and related technology devices to the Recycle Rebuild Restore project through participating agencies. |
