Recycling and disposal in Stark, Tuscarawas and Wayne Counties

Appliances may be restored to their former condition if properly repaired. If the appliance is still useable, it can also be donated to individuals or nonprofit organizations. If you are purchasing a new appliance, check with the retailer from whom you bought it from to see if they will take it.

Otherwise, some facilities, businesses or donation centers will accept appliances. Note that freon may need to be removed from appliances before dropping them off.
